Dr. Yauheni Solad, MD, MHS is Medical Director of Digital Health and Telemedicine at Yale New Haven Health. With more than 15 years of software development experience, board certification in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics Dr. Solad provides a unique link between clinical and technical worlds. Dr. Solad work is focused on the implementation of digital health technologies and its integration with Electronic Medical Records to facilitate clinical research and improve clinical outcomes through real-world evidence generation and personalized clinical decision support. He is one of the leaders behind Yale-New Haven Health Connected Care Hub project, which focuses on enabling patients participation in care by streamlining digital transformation and leveraging digital health tools. Dr. Solad is co-lead of Project workgroup for ONC FHIR at Scale Taskforce (FAST); an executive board member and the director of special projects for NODE Health Consortium - a non-profit organization that strives to combine the rigor of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) with emerging healthcare technologies to help create evidence-based digital medicine; and co-lead for Research workgroup for IEEE 2418.6 “Blockchain in Healthcare” standard development group.
