Social Movements in Healthcare Amplified by Technology

September 18, 2019
11:10am - 12:10pm
Mission City B4

We live in a time where disruption is becoming the norm for businesses and consumers, and we're also seeing social disruption play out as citizens use technology to amplify their voices on major social issues like #metoo and #timesup. Healthcare is no exception, with movements on topics like mental health, data and privacy, and patient advocacy. In this session, we discuss how technology can spotlight the issues, bring people together, and alleviate the pain points on many of today's biggest issues.

Session consists of presentations and panel discussion.
